Damian Wayne, also known as Robin, is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe. He is the son of Bruce Wayne (Batman) and Talia al Ghul, and he was trained from a young age by the League of Assassins.
In the comic book storyline "Batman Incorporated," Damian Wayne meets his demise at the hands of his genetic clone and older brother, Heretic. Damian sacrifices himself to save Gotham City from Heretic's deadly plots. His death deeply affects Batman and the rest of the Bat-family, leading to a period of mourning for the character.
Despite his death in the comics, Damian Wayne has been resurrected and continues to make appearances in various DC Comics titles.
